The Villa Montezuma San Diego, California
Jesse Shepard came to San Diego after touring the royal courts of Europe during his career as a musician. While in San Diego he built Villa Montezuma, now the Villa Montezuma Museum. It is currently closed to the public, except for occasional events. But, you can take a Daily Tour here. Visit the website at http://villamontezuma.org/
